Mystic and a Sun Burn Later...

This is my favorite of my few pics from Mystic Aquarium... Yup - we went there Sunday. Just part of our wonderful Anniversary weekend. It was so nice to have a 3-day weekend - I haven't had one in so long I almost forgot how wonderful they were! Saturday was our one year anniversary - I can't even believe that its already been a year! We spent the day sleeping and eating. Then Sunday we went down to Mystic Aquarium. Obviously, I didn't really realize how sunny it was - such a nice sunburn I have! :) We spent the rest of the day at Hammonasset State Park on the beach. We've decided that we LOVE CT beach! If we had any plans to move that area would be high on our list. Don't worry - we aren't going anywhere! Monday we spent at picnics and visiting people - all in all a very nice weekend.

Yah - this is about the most boring blog yet... go check out the rest of my pictures over on www.shutupmilo.com instead of anymore reading. :)

From my Honey...

...from my Honey - on our Anniversary...

(i don’t like cards, i never have. i don’t need hallmark to decide how i’m going to say something or what words i’m going to use …. so this is my card)
Simply put, this last year has been the absolute greatest of my life. I can’t think of a time when I’ve enjoyed being around a person as much as I enjoy being around you. You’re patience, your kindness, your love for me is never ending. I’m sorry for the times I become difficult to be around, it’s never my intent to hurt you.
We’ve learned to live together, to talk together, to enjoy one another. We’ve learn to argue respectfully, we’ve learned to be honest about how we feel, we’ve learned to allow the other to be mad from time to time. Most importantly, we’ve always been a team. I love you more than I can express.
I pray that the next year of our marraige will be exactly like the first. It was perfect. I’m sad for the people who have warned us that the first year is always the toughest. Or rather, I hope they’re right, because that means the coming years will be nothing short of heaven on earth. God has blessed me more than I could have ever imagined.
I love you, pro …. happy anniversary

Photography Day

Sometimes when we go out to take pictures... ...we only find gross things!
And then - sometimes we find really cool things.
I almost stepped on this guy before I knew he was there!
And... my wonderful husband :) (a.k.a. partner in crime!)

So very quick...

Sun April 24th: We start to seriously (and for the very first time) think about selling our house.
Wed April 27th: We are in the middle of redoing our bathroom and a realtor stops by to "take a look" at the house and tell us what they think.
Thurs April 28th: We agree to put our house on the market the following Monday... And realizing that there are already people who want to see the house say that they can look as long as they understand that the house is not yetready. (The bathroom is not finished etc) We then spend 3 frantic days finishing the bathroom, putting a railing on the stairs, and doing minor repairs here and there.
Sun April 30th: Our house has its first showing - even though it is not yet on the market.
Mon May 1st: Our house is officially on the market, but not for showings until Thursday so that we can get some things done.
Thurs May 4th: Our house is open for showing - we can't come home from work until 8pm because there are people looking at our house all day...
...and for the next 3 days.
Mon May 8th: We sign papers accepting the best offer - OUR HOUSE IS SOLD!
Thurs May 18th: House inspection is scheduled, and yes we are nervous and praying that all goes well! I can't wait until that is done!!!

...We did get an apartment finalized today - we'll be moving to Heritage Village in Guilderland on Sat the 24th of June for all you strong, willing people who are looking for something fun to do that day!!!!!! :)
